The cabin was incredibly beautiful, charming, and cosy. The owners were extra welcoming and friendly. No wi-fi or phone signal, but there are DVD movies available upon request. There is a treasure hunting game for guests and a hot tub with candles and bath salts.
Felt well taken care of, no complaints.

I absolutely loved the rustic charm and cozy atmosphere of this cabin. It was the perfect getaway in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home. The cabin was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly appreciated the little welcome baskets for both myself and my furry friend. The location was ideal, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to Sherandon Lake and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was the perfect place to disconnect and recharge, with no internet, TV, or cell service.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

As foreign tourists, we loved the peaceful and rustic atmosphere of the cabin. The beautiful stream and forest surroundings made it a truly serene getaway. The cabin had all the amenities we needed, allowing us to enjoy the camping experience without sacrificing comfort. We loved cooking our meals on an open fire and the children had a blast playing in the stream. Lake Sherando nearby was perfect for fishing, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay. The owners provided a warm welcome and even included thoughtful welcome baskets for both us and our furry family members.
We felt very welcomed during our stay, with absolutely no complaints.

The cabins were clean and neat, with friendly and helpful staff. The location was perfect for cycling on the Blue Ridge Parkway, only 2 miles away. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, offering a quiet and relaxing experience.
Some of the cabins were situated close to busy roadways, so be sure to ask for a cabin that suits your needs. The ceilings in one of the cabins were very low, so if you're tall, it may not be ideal.

My family and I recently stayed at Oakwood cabin for a weekend getaway. We wanted to disconnect from technology and enjoy the tranquility of nature, and Oakwood cabin provided the perfect setting. The stream and forest surroundings were beautiful and serene. We loved being able to bring our dogs and let the kids play in the stream. Cooking breakfast and dinner on an open fire made us feel like we were camping, while still having the comfort of a well-stocked cabin. The proximity to Lake Sherando was great for fishing, and the owners were incredibly helpful and welcoming. We left feeling refreshed and recharged.
Can recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful cabin in the middle of peaceful surroundings. Cabin Edgewood was perfect for us, with all the amenities we needed, including a dishwasher and washer/dryer. We loved exploring the nearby forest and lake, renting kayaks for a fun afternoon on the water. The outdoor firepit and pool were also highlights. The only downside was some road noise in the mornings. we highly recommend this tranquil getaway!

The location of the hotel was definitely a positive aspect. Guests mentioned how it was conveniently situated near Crabtree Falls, Sherando Lake, and other great hiking trails. Additionally, the nearby forest and lake provided opportunities for activities such as kayaking and canoeing.
One downside, however, was the intermittent WiFi service. Although some guests didn't mind the lack of TV or WiFi, it could be inconvenient for others who rely on these amenities.

We had a wonderful time at Cabin Creekwood. We stayed for a week with our Scottish Terriers and enjoyed the stream and forest setting. It was the perfect mix of camping and cabin living. Cooking meals on an open fire was a highlight, and the lack of internet and cable allowed us to disconnect and recharge. Lake Sherando nearby was great for fishing. The owners were helpful and friendly, and the location was ideal for our skiing trip to Wintergreen.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The cabin had plenty of space for our family and was clean and comfortable. The location was great, especially for skiing at Wintergreen. The manager, Julia, was super friendly and welcoming.
We were disappointed that the cabin did not have cable. We were unable to watch the bowl games during our stay, which was a letdown for our football fanatics.
Tourists from United States often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
